The company Desarrollos Bio-Tecno-Alimentarios participates in a project for the development of insects flours for animal and human food from waste of the agri-food industry in collaboration with three other companies and three research groups of the University of Murcia (RETOS -Collaboration 2017).

Funded by: FEDER / Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities State Research Agency / _RTC project-2017-5964-2 "Use of agricultural industrial by-products for the production of insect flours for human and animal consumption (InsectFlour)".


Bio-Technological Food Developments S.L. DEBIOTEC has highly qualified staff with extensive experience in design and optimization of processes in the food industry. We are specialists in testing for pilot plant scale for many manufacturing processes, providing tools and advise to the companies, developing new products or improving existing ones.


Applied research to the company Award

For the development of a microrrugated cardboard with different coatings and wrappings capable of extending the shelf life of the vegetables was developped.

Technological innovation Award

For the invention of an alcohol-free wine (INNOVAL 2008 Alimentaria 2008, Barcelona ) “Altos de la Ermita” from over 400 products in its category.
